Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Working here is so tiring

It's not enough we're always overworked to the point of exhaustion, we have to constantly worry over still having a job in the morning. It's one thing to have layoffs once or twice a year, but to have to worry about it every single week is exhausting. No wonder people are quitting. Working here has become a health hazard.

I don't care what the execs know or think, so long as they keep sending checks for a year. Also, F off.

I am a long timer who has been on the layoff-fence for 5 years now. It su-ks.

For anybody who has less than 5 years here and is on the fence, get interviewing.

WF is not a great place to work, it is a piece of duct tape to help you pay the bills in order to get a better job.

I can't think of a better way to insult WF as a place to work than that. In a perfect world WF leadership would be concerned by this comment and try to figure out and improve their reputation.

Not every WF employee who complains is a rotten egg. A lot of us are genuine souls who really wish it was a better place to work for everyone.

@jsn+1sz4y9Jz But that doesn’t fit the narrative of all the clueless, jaded dolts who think you should hang around for that lottery-like payout of SEVERANCE!!!! Nevermind lost opportunity and your mental health. Should have stayed here to really STICK IT to an organization who has absolutely no idea you existed nor has emotions to care if you left.

That will show them!!!

Start working on yourself. Separate yourself from this employer. Upskill and learn new things. Learn AI. Prepare for the next generation of banks, fintech tools, whatever. Wells is only as unhealthy as you want it to be. Unlearn the fact that life is a lot better being proactive than reactive.

Get a new job at a different company. That's what I did and I am feeling much better now.
