@wt tell the whole story. It depends on who you are is how they enforce it.
@wt you do know it is all a depends on who you are right? If you think the code of conduct aapplies to all in the company, you're a fool.
@OP on any company owned system you have no expectation or RIGHT to privacy. Been that way since computers hit our desks in 1988. How did anybody not know this? Its not a constitutional or civil rights issue. The company owns the equipment and therefore any and all uses of the equipment.

Use no electronics at or near any SF building nor any (including theirs and your) electronics devices. Anything you say no matter how minimal will be used to fit their narrative and not yours. Yes, that is the kind of people you wwork for. Exercise your right to remain silent and document everything. Trust none. That is the environment they embrace and set up.
@fm this person is correct. I'm directly involved in the capture space and yes there are teams that do this and no none of them have time to investigate people that aren't already being investigated.

Teams can keep track of everything said.
There is a team in security that does this so its real. what your back very carefully
There is a literal disclaimer when you use Teams ….
Also, if they are looking this much into what you are doing, you've got other issues than just your messages going on.
No they aren't
They only look at those who aren't meeting the bare minimum to see where they're wasting all their time. The majority can ignore this ridiculous post.
BS. Don't even use your personal cell to communicate. It can be screenshot and shared with mgmt and they CAN and will take your job if you mentioned anything SF. Trust none. Save any and all info and store away from premises.
@OP What do you consider to be "jokes" and "witty banter?" It is a slippery slope and you will be written up for slipping too far.
