H1B visa holders are experiencing heightened job insecurity due to the challenges of finding new employment if laid off. There are H1B holders engaging in workplace politics, blame-shifting or compete more aggressively with colleagues to protect their positions and letting managers to engage in favoritism, fostering a workplace culture that lacks basic respect and professional standards.

Some H1B visa holders are experiencing heightened job insecurity due to the challenges of finding new employment if laid off. This pressure is leading many individuals to engage in workplace politics, blame-shifting or compete more aggressively with colleagues to protect their positions. This is further complicated by managers who engage in favoritism, fostering a workplace culture that lacks basic respect and professional standards.

@OP probably calm for first three months. After that it all depends if they have hard employee count target in mind. In the end, the benefits should improve for whoever end up staying.
