Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Please be honest: Is anyone on here going to fail the assessment on purpose so they can lay-offed?

Allstate wants smaller teams because they consider claims a redundant role. Does that mean you’ll have more work than what you do right now if you aren’t let go of?

Also, who wants to stay at a company that could have another lay off if they please too.

How can you be ethical if there is no choice to disagree. you only can "agree" or "slightly agree". There are some that I don't agree with. So in other words the test forces you to tell untruths about how you feel by not giving you a choice to disagree. Set up to fail in my opinion

The hypocrisy is laughable, thanks that brightened my day!

It's a behavioral assessment. There is no way to "fail". But the assessment will have fail-safe questions that will show that you are not being truthful.

Everyone does realize this is not something you can fail right? It is a series of choices and you put agree/strongly agree/disagree/strongly disagree, the answers you give will provide an insight to your thinking and it can be subtle differences like "Do you prefer chocolate chip cookies or Do you prefer chocolate cookies with caramel"

Yo @wqm+16isg3Bw - thanks for 100% confirming this is being monitored by Allstate! "We urge you not to play games and be ethical and honest in this process." Cool that you can also decide when someone is intentionally tanking it instead of just bad at taking useless tests.

If they do reduce the number of adjusters, then they need to do away with processes. The processes cause so much redundancy in doing the job, we can’t properly adjust claims.

The person giving guidance on the assement must be from leadership, I am sure he will still have a job!

Not taking the assessment will disqualify you from severance.
Sabotaging the assessment in a way that can easily be identified (at Allstate's discretion) will disqualify you from severance.

We urge you not to play games and be ethical and honest in this process.

Sure sounds like it. Claims is busy as it is. If you're chosen to stay, your workload will probably increase. Who wants that????

I guess casualty adjusters with full pendings are redundant ... good luck to the managers who have to reassign full pendings to those with already over 200 claims...smh
