If the handover include some cushy biz travel to Inja I would say it’s worth it.
Some SR jobs will be transitional jobs to move to ENGINE. These jobs will not be relocated to Houston
Can the poster share the decision criteria on 'job stay in SR vs move to HOU'? Remember when we all used to have to show the 'business case' for decisions? I have not seen a SINGLE one for the HQ move. It is just posturing or positioning for merger IMO.

Nothingburger. Anything could happen by 2027, even another merger and definitely a new CEO. I wouldn't sweat it for another couple years. If it seems like it is really happening, just take a cushy resident or rotational overseas position for a few years (no issue to land those if you are connected at HQ).
