I was NOT impressed by TK as a leader when she joined from wherever she was previously. However you could see this coming all along as Saul's cheerleader past couple of years. Congrats to her but glad I left that dumpster fire before all this occurred, and all you get to go back to the offices :)
She got the nod for the simple reason she's got no rod.....Schart replaced a female (MM) with a (arguably) male and had to backfill him with a gash to keep his Woke Ratio at least constant.

She is pure evil. She will make you work 80 hour weeks to do 150% of every requirement just to show She can whip her employees best. Plat became a sweatshop under her. Unreasonable demands. Unreasonable deadlines. And massive layoffs and outsourcing is what I have seen working under her
Yeah, but you'll have a very difficult time leading if you're technically incompetent. You might not even know what you don't know, which makes it a challenge to direct people. Sure, there's strategic goals, but if you have no foundational knowledge you're not in a good position for success. Better get up to speed quick. Not that I care, I'm not in her group. Having worked in her org and also a peer org at BofA . I was surprised she was hired at WF. She cannot manage large groups. She thinks she is a Cathy Bessant or Amy Baker at Key Corp. She is fake , Inept, a bad leader, a good cheerleader, manages up and will do whatever CS wants . Because she wants to keep the big bucks coming in .
you don't need to know how to program you just need to know how to manage programers. CS probably cant even balance a cash drawer but he runs a bank. it's about ability to lead

How the heck do they pick TK? There is a much larger Talent Pool out there that would have been a much better choice. TK DOES NOT have the knowledge, skill, strategy, vision, or tech understanding to run/oversee an Enterprise. This is especially true when it comes to all the outdated and layered systems, and new regulations that both US Domestic and international have put in place. This pick was a failure.
I have nothing against TK, but there is a much better talent pool to choose from. Why land in TK. That is fishy!
With a new head of Technology, they will need to come up with their own vision for the organization - usually 180 degrees opposite of their predecessor's. I really hope that means an end to this Agile transfornication we're going through.

I bet you could take any one of us, no matter our role in tech and plop us in Tracy's spot. Collect a paycheck, sweep some sand at the beach for 6-12 months. We are on autopilot here in technology, the grand plan was already figured out.

This is so messed up. Tech is definately affected.
The bell has already tolled for WFH since 70% of teams are required to be co-located. Many who are not in the same office as their team are going to be laid off and replacements will be hired.
So if you are in a geographically diverse team, unless you are in the future hub for your team, you are on the layoff list.
TK is Chuckles wet dream. She has taken the displacement hatchet to new levels. New ball game. Say what you want about Saul he wasn’t perfect but people will be wishing for the good old days at some point.

However...
I am in her current org and have seen her make some bizarre demands that showed a lack of understanding of the structures under her. Not a case of us being resistant to change but a case of her edicts introducing undue risks. I'm not sure her 3 years at Wells will be enough to grasp the diversity of teams in her new structure.
My experience with women managers is sometimes they come in all fiery to assert themselves, then 4-6 months down the line they are great.
I've seen some go that were terrible losses for the bank.
