Another clear example of terrible leadership.
Terrible. It’s exactly what we did.
Read this. A past example of Surbana labeling the employees they axed as "Poor Performance" in 2017. https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/surbana-chided-for-publicly-labelling-laid-off-workers-as-poor-performers
What an arrogant comment.
The ridiculous hostile legal paperwork and the cold manner it was presented was shameful.
: @rqc+17LlUAKm Headcount reduction is what it was used for.
The world doesn’t revolve around the US. Severance packages in both AU and UK are pretty good.
I was layed off mere hours after informing my supervisor I had tested positive for covid19.
What severance even with the layoff. Get over your PIP brigade. Many have passed. After all it's not a headcount reduction tool.
Enough!!! Ask the real question....are we #winning yet?
You are missing the point: people aren’t upset about layoffs. They are upset about XOM’s handling of it so they can save on severance costs.
This is a business that is bleeding money, not a charity. Least things look brighter in this sector than the airline industry. They are doing similar cuts.
But I thought we’re supposed to assume good intent?
