This site is called “the layoff.” With that said, specifically where are the layoffs these days?

It’s always October. Has been for the past 7+ years. Make 4Q look fabulous for stock holders.
Next round of layoffs coming from the pretending to be so friendly and happy CK. She must have been hired by GK to do these cuts with a fake a-s smile on her face. Girl bye. You ain’t fooling anyone.
@vt it’s discriminatory because they bluntly say here is the list of only your remote workers. Pick the cuts and let us know.
@vt Home Class
In order for it to be discriminatory, the people need to be in a class. What class are remote workers in?
All I know is they definitely discriminate when HR sends a list of remote staff when making cuts.
What about Mortgage? Heard anything there? A lot of strange feels and things happening. I TBH as most would rather just be told.
(I guess i should also throw in there for REMOTE WORKER -no HUB in location or even close)
Based of off history the bank likes to do layoffs around the 15th of the month and on a Wednesday. Given that this Wednesday and October 15th at least for digital is where we will see some people get notified they are laid off. Obviously could be different but that tends to be the pattern.
@bb I’m aware of some being given notice in October and they were officially out in December.
If we're basing it on last year though a lot of the October layoffs, the employees were given against notice in August and September. Basically they were no show jobs until October when severance started officially.
What?
Probably October again. That’s been the trend for some groups.
In Risk for one but given what happened last year look out for September and October.
Jodi Richard made it clear there would be layoffs as her organizations restructure. I haven't heard anything yet. I suspect they will wait until after quarter-end.
@OP I have heard no rumblings for September. I've heard a lot of other rumors but nothing about layoffs recently.
What layoffs have there been in tech lately? What's going on with the infamous cloud program?
@OP everywhere.
