Is it true markets BASS is merging into business control? That sounds like a mess and I feel bad for everyone on the BASS side. Hopefully FA gets the boot soon

Can anyone explain why compliance only seems to come to BASS and COOs instead of engaging the business directly themselves? Is it because they’re just a bunch of pu----s who can’t actually do anything except nitpick all day? Don’t know why they think these two relatively new groups are going to solve all the problems Compliance has missed for years. Also with all the control that Compliance has moved to the frontline, why do we even need them? Was on a call recently where the BACO told a testing team to go to the business for MCRs. Isn’t that like the one thing they’re supposed to do?
FAs are essential to feed the AI model. Then they will be toast.
@vs has anyone noticed that no one in FA’s circle has been laid off despite being absolutely incompetent ?
It’s true and FA has already been sidelined after doing an incredible amount of damage to his reports and not sure if this is gonna turn anything around for either group. Everyone I know in BASS looks like they’re all being ridden hard and put away wet by IRM and various other groups that keep pouring on all the stuff they messed up and BASS is supposed to now fix with 20 people. Not sure if many of them will last tbh
