Appropriate Salary by PSG

Can anyone share the standard salary range or a C.O. of 100% at each PSG level (U.S. based)?

There is a legal difference between "private" and "confidential"

What PSG would Financial Analysts make?

I’d be surprised if this is confidential- no employee names were attached. Anyone is free to describe what they get paid (e.g., to their accountant— I certainly don’t sign a C.A. each Spring). There’s also nothing to stop employees comparing salaries except modesty. And if someone compiled a list, it demonstrates best-in-class We Lead behaviors. The lack of salary transparency only gives companies leverage over employees.

I am reporting to authorities. The compensation table is company confidential and should not have been leaked here.

Key info not shared are details on the option packages.

The numbers below are not very accurate or up to date, but could be considered an extremely rough estimate today. A comparison to another offer with any detail would be useless. That's all the info I am willing to divulge.

Noble here- is there a way to find out how PSGs are assigned? Curious where I’d fit if I make the cut.

I am pretty sure psg levels are not confidential. If they are, I am not sure why they would be.

Are there not laws in place that protect the open dissemination of salary data?

I'd imagine that an individual's compensation package is not merely their current comp but also what has been communicated as their career ladder's comp.

Kudos to CVX for being transparent in sharing these numbers. And kudos to the user for improving dissemination by posting it on this medium.

@vfu+16veu0dR. WOW. Despite agreeing to abide by the company’s policies when you willingly agreed to work for the company, you have flagrantly chosen to recklessly violate its policies by publishing company-confidential information. This speaks volumes of your character. One wonders what other harm is your defective personality capable of doing. God only knows what motives, other than disgruntled stupidity, convinced you to act in a manner that would cause your immediate termination had you not done this anonymously. Rest assured your irresponsible action will, in due time, bear the appropriate consequences. For now, though, here is a spiritual principle you may want to reflect on:

We sow and we reap;
We reap WHAT we sow
MORE than we sow
and LATER than we sow.

Here are the 100% COs for 2019 rounded to the nearest $100. Take note each is grade is about 15% higher than the previous. The lowest CO at each PSG is 80%.... while most will reach 100% within about 3 years with a 2 PMP ranking whereas you can reach a 108% with a 2+, and 115% with a 1 in 3 years if your aren’t promoted first. Stock options which can be very significant start always at PSG 27, but sometimes at 26. For the 2020 pay scales, add about 2.5 to 3% for the cost of living adjustment. It’s anyone’s guess as to how the 2021 pay scales will shape up.

17 = $71,700, 8% CIP
18 = $82,000, 9% CIP
19 = $93,800, 10% CIP
20 = $106,500, 11% CIP
21 = $122,900, 12% CIP
22 = $141,400, 14% CIP
23 = $163,000, 16% CIP
24 = $187,900, 20% CIP
25 = $216,700, 25% CIP
26 = $246,500, 30% CIP, & stock options
27 = $283,600, 35% CIP, & stock
28 = $326,900, 40% CIP, & stock
29 = $377,700, 50% CIP, & stock
30 = $439,000, 60% CIP, & stock

In 2019, a PSG 21 had a 100% CO of $126,500. I believe each PSG above that increases by 15%. The overall inflation increase from year to year is about 3% too.
