Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I am one of the employees who received their termination letters on Sep, 30 here. I was being told the management was incapable of making a selection and they asked their lawyers to do the work. I worked at DXC for many years and to be honest, I am happy to go.. This company has no future, I am pretty much sure the next wave of WFR is coming soon.

Next country to hit the WFR program is Austria, is your country next?

Pink slips are delivered today, via courrier of a law firm.

Simple letter, almost no text, no reason, only the calculated date of last day.

New DXC == Old DXC + Accenture Execs - (Customers + Skilled Staff)

The "managers" who created the mess especially in Germany are still in place and still talk about cost adjustment, while THEY led us into desaster. Simple question: Who signed those contracts where we make massive losses? Who agreed to "Moneyball" (HW paid for, sitting wrapped in the DCs and cannot be used)... Ahhh the new CEO of Gainwell... others still in Exec Level positions, unable to sell, unable to take accountability, just begging the workforce and managers not to talk to clients about internals. It's a shame. Real leaders behave differently. Time is up for you guys as well..

If anyone could explain why they are axing people who bring in business, are key players, and have a great work attitude, I'd be delighted.
And who is going to tell the clients that we will stop delivering?
And if that Hans guy helds one more happy go lucky townhall, I will drink a glass of vodka every time he mentions extramile. I will be drunk 10 minutes into the call.
If I would use swear words, I would do that now.

The strategy is chop staff, lower turnover, get more Accenture managers at the top to cream off shares, once all the customers and contracts have gone switch off the lights and the management retire in a nice resort. Adios bums we have a dream and your part of it till your made redundant.

@vfa+175Zz7SQ - yes very likely that WFR programs will reoccur in UK again - has been like this since CSC days and got worse under Lawrie leadership but thought SAL would reshape the company and WFR would reduce in frequency and the no's being let go - invaluable experienced and hard work staff that is extremely hard to replace

Yep - i got the second change to be part of the voluntary program (the first entry was denied by the managment) - i agree as usual to leave the sinking ships with a life safe jacket...
