Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Chevron is following me

I’ve heard information suggesting that Chevron may have contacted my new company with requests that could limit my project scope and raised questions about my past achievements. I’m trying to verify the facts and understand my options. Has anyone else experienced something similar after leaving their Chevron? I left it in 2020 and still been followed.

OP, I am in the same boat. I hear noises under my bed late at night when I am trying to sleep and I have trouble. I believe it is MW playing with his johnson while making fun of me and smirking. I am sure of it. They are following me and sneaking in, he gets under the bed and spanks his monkey and laughs! It's utterly horrifying. I don't now how long I can take this stalking by Chevron.

@pz I have some evidence now from one of my coworkers who used to work with me and left a few years after me. He told me they do not want me or anyone that was working on high profile projects to be successful outside Chevron as they think we might utilize our expertise to help other competitors. They are OK to damage our reputation and use thier power to destroy our careers just to achieve their goals.

First, what proof do you have this?

Secondly, why would they do this?

Although, I could see jealous, former coworkers attempting to sabotage anyone who has moved on and is successful…

You aren't that important.

You probably did a good job checking the oil and cleaning windshields without customers needing to ask. They probably saw you walk across the street to start working at the Shell station so they aren't technically following you, just watching you.

I think you overestimate Chevron. They are not competent enough to be truly evil.
