Has she ever actually accomplished anything, beyond posting on social media and soaking up stock options. I’m truly curious.

I used to work for AVZ at the middle management level and can definitively say she is a decoration only. Nice person but a very JUNIOR executive with no pressure to produce results or tangible output. It's not her fault, though. It's the C-suite who keeps her around. It's a company that used to be great - since the Grail acquisition in H2 2021, it has gone steadily downhill and will continue to do so.
It is laughable to state iPulse is anonymous a least it was not to one deparment in APAC operation site.
The site director and their buddies managers had told their subordinates that they know who are participants and their rating to coerce them into giving the compulsory good rating:
1) participation rating- 100%
2) manager performance rating - 5 or 4.
@wd maybe it’s cowardly I’m theory by basic moral standards, but in a corporate setting it’s safety. There’s a reason ipulse surveys are anonymous.
@109 EC will call her bluff. Smart guy.
I agree. She just fakes it and makes it. Not effective in either R&D or BD. I think she is more suited for VP of HR.
@xd how do you figure? This is the layoff.com, people come to this site to discuss potential rumblings of layoffs. People instead use it as a cowardly method of publicly trashing people on the internet.
@v6 you are being hypocrite then and should leave this forum.
@wg yes I don’t think that is right and I don’t call out individuals and it completely open forum. Making general statements about leadership or strategic direction are very different than specifically calling out individuals.
@wd So then, you admonish the calling out of Jacob by name, or any ELT member..?
I don't know much about her, but I do know that calling out a person by name on a public forum while you remain anonymous is cowardly. It's different if you are criticizing leadership in general, the strategic direction, or the layoffs (you know the purpose of this site). There are many people in every company that underperform and many that overperform and don't get recognized. If we are going to start calling them all out by name its gonna be a long thread and just not necessary.
@v6 I agree; It’s a bit uncomfortable. But leaders who are given big roles, lofty titles, and lots of money need to be accountable for results and providing strong leadership. If we’re going to avoid naming specific people, then we should take down every post on this forum that expressly critiques Jacob or any of the executives, and that’s simply not necessary or even reasonable. Things cross inappropriate lines when they become strictly personal attacks. But calling out specific leaders by name for not demonstrating effective leadership or delivering tangible, meaningful results is a different ballgame, and while it’s a little cringey, it’s not entirely unfair. Not everything will be pleasant. God knows, working under ineffective leaders is pretty damn unsatisfying.
@OP this talking negatively about specific people anonymously really does not sit well with me. This is a totally public forum, whatever you may think of Ashley she doesn’t deserve this.
Lots of superficial and self-important nonsense, like Ted talks and other LinkedIn back-slapping. But no actual substance, just ladder climbing and promoting her image.
I’ve never seen anything compelling from her. Seems to me, she’s just good at playing the game and looking the part. I mean, compare her to AH in supply chain who has worked her tail off and driven a lot of impactful change yet not been hailed in the same way across the C-suite. It’s ridiculous.
Who is AVZ?
@OP NOPE! Nothing.
