CTL allowing customers to check our temperature

Under the Updated COVID 19 health checks it says customers are taking precautions to ensure their own safety and asking technicians to participate in getting their temperature checked before entering their premise. Also saying in this particular case the 6 foot rule would apply. This is insane... how about do what’s right CTL and not have us enter the home to ensure the safety of both the customer & technician.

You are not required to allow a customer to check your temperature. That would be a HIPPA violation if the company mandated that. It would be up to you to give the OK for that. If you aren’t comfortable doing it just politely refuse and walk away. If you are at least it gives you peace of mind that you are still healthy. The choice is yours not the company’s.

Maybe we should be checking our customers temperature upon arrival!

"Yeah. Not happening. Changing all bonded orders to single and full installs to self installs. Customers don’t like it go somewhere else. "

It’s really simple... don’t do inside work. Period. Reschedule or No Access.

We need to start fighting back. Not keep bending over for the company.

I agree, my health and my families health is more important to me than their bottom line. No inside access is required at all, and if they won't get us the equipment we need without excuses then I should not have to make up any lie as to why I will not go in any house regardless of the problem, get your head out of your a$$ management "It's not going to happen"

They're talking about business and government customers requiring temp screens prior to entering a building. Non-contact thermometer and the taker wearing a surgical mask or respirator. If they aren't doing both, tell them nicely to pound sand and no access it.
