This is supposed to be the week of major cuts but I've seen barely any mention of it so far. Considering that Friday layoffs are extremely rare, that leaves today and tomorrow. Is it happening?
Realistically, there shouldn't be a need for layoffs right now considering the alarming attrition rates we're seeing, but I guess you can never tell with this cut-happy management.

@cci+1dw8TeQo - Not true. I was laid off on 10/20 - a Wednesday. I know of 11 other people who were displaced same day. Layoff can and do happen on any day of the week.

Third Thursday of the month, Sr tech manager, MC was laid-off last week.
Our team lost two members last week, I'm in Tech.

When they laid me off, it was a Friday. Why lay off on a Monday when you can get a week of work out of people first?
