Yearly Bonus In Jeopardy

The consent order from the OCC is much more damaging then anyone within the EMG is letting on. There are serious discussions about eliminating the yearly bonus for the Bank and other LOBs as well. 2025 is going to be worse than the last 4 years combined.

This is not true. We have received the pool of money to allocate across departments. 2025 is different story though.

Lol. TOF isn't wasting time reading this site when she could be enjoying her golden parachute instead.

This was a rumor started by former employees with the initials TOF, BP, and PV. Think what you will. I'm sure as a SAFe Agile Scrum Master Level III, you are keyed in at the highest levels of the company.

I haven’t heard a damn thing about bonuses being in jeopardy. I am in a position to be privy to that information and I haven’t heard one peep about that

Based on working for very large firms over an extended career. USAA lured professionals making over 6 figures a year by offering more money, etc. Benefits are really not that much different and in some cases less than others. Intro pay for people making under 5 figures a year was even higher than other firms. Maybe your big pay bump of 30%, which is substantial, was based on your gained experience. Glad you moved up in your career.

Based on what? I got a 30% bump by jumping ship and my job isnt in jeopardy like many there.

Noone is talking about their inability to expand their products and consumer base on the bank side without direct approval from the OCC. Very bad news.

I am not a fan of USAA, but I will say that their base salaries are considered very good in the industry. Bonus's are never a given and are at the will of the company. The only thing concreate is your standard pay and benefits, based on current year.

Bank dragging down our bonus yet again. Can we sell off this lame duck already?

The annual bonus is the salary "normalizer", I mean without it, our annual incomes will be below industry standards. I for one will call it quits without it. Our industry major competitors have it, so it is a must. Trust me, most of us will call it quits without it.

Hahaha EMGs can maintain long-term bonus (120%~200%) of their salary after successful meets expectation rating for 3 or more years, but us plebes can’t have 15-20% of bonus 🤣

Thank God senior leaders did the right thing since Wayne took over and just didn't end up where they began.

You don't even work for the company anymore TOF. Kind of like that guy who was laid off who keeps rejoining the USAA Facebook group after getting kicked out.
