On the town hall yesterday they implied they were going to have to cut AIP again this year just like they did last year leaving all of us worker bees with hardly any bonus and many many riffs. How do they think all this work is going to get done if they keep riffing people and taking away any incentive of bonus dollars? Just one of those C-suite salaries or yearly bonuses could have kept many worker bees or given mor bonus to the hard working staff who do all the work. Make it make sense!?!

@be my direct reports got more money in one QIP than I got on my entire AIP when exceeding expectations. Happy for them but still stings
@tz I've also seen multiple listings with 0% AIP, and others with lower AIP than the roles currently have.
From the time the current salary bands have been laid out (which was after the Trigon/Virginia merger), AIP slice E bands get has dropped 2.5-7.5%. There have been job postings that show 0%. Whether that was incorrect or not, I do not know.
Why does Norwood still have a job?
I’m shocked I tell ya LOL
that we moved into multiple states with many old, sick people and….. they didn’t anticipate that payout would be more than premium coming in.
The fact CFO said that with a straight face. What PLANET is ELT on that they didn’t see this coming?
That will NEVER happen. The only reason people who have tens of millions of dollars in net worths keep working is to keep the money flowing in. They will never cut off their own gravy train since the whole point of them working is to get as much as they can before they are fired for incompetence. Speaking of incompetence, why is the senior leadership still employed given the stock price has gone down by HALF!!! All of my ESPP stock going back a decade is under water. They need to be held accountable, but to prove my point, their “plan” will be RIFF’s to lower costs and none of them will be in the “plan”.
It’s even crazier if you have QIP you are not affected only AIP bonuses are. It’s absolutely nonsense how positions and bonuses are decided. SLT gets there’s good or bad and never ANY salary cuts. I can’t even stomach watching town halls as there $250k watches and jewelry are dazzling the cameras not from jealousy but knowing how many employees are scrapping by with pennies paid to them.
I once worked for a small company where the owner took paycuts during business downturns to avoid letting people go. He drove a 15 year old car and capped his own salary at below six figures. During one severe downturn, he dropped his pay to 55,000, and when he raised it again, he raised it to only 70,000. He also had four kids and a stay at home wife. Some months we were making payroll with our credit line at the bank, but he never once had to lay anyone off. The business still exists, too.
Fat chance of something like that ever happening here, or anywhere at this point.

So we ship them all our white-collar American jobs then RIF American?
Maybe the C Suite would settle for Coldplay concert tickets this year instead of their AIP…
Why would they do that? We're going to just be replaced by their offshore associates and garbage AI. Like plenty of others have said, don't give them any more time or work than you have to because they certainly won't treat you with any sense of value or decency.
@OP Really...do you think there's a chance of that ever happening?
