Understaffed and looking for help? ...... lol why does people think China owned Walmart won't use slave labor just like they do in China, only difference is they must do it under the radar in America and they are experts at cheating America, it's their national pastime. That rank and yank mentality started shortly after Jacqui Canney and Marc Lore arrived. The bonus structure changed too.

Amazon leadership was brought into Walmart a couple of years ago. They are toxic to Walmart and its culture, what little is left of it. At the VP level they have purged large numbers of Walmart talent and leaders, only to replace them with Amazon lackies, creating increased middle management and chaotic disruption.
It has been mentioned here on numerous occasions, with specific names mentioned, including failed projects and initiatives that the Amazon transplants lack any understanding or competency to manage or deliver for Walmart.
It would be no surprise that a post such as that would be found on LinkedIn from a Walmart Director. They have a need to fill the H1B Visa slots they lost, and to replenish the purged Walmart talent. While the layoffs cut headcount, they never cut the demand for projects and initiatives that are expected to be delivered to the business, or the various disruptive pet projects of leadership.

Walmart has layoffs several times a year. They practice “rank and yank” so it’s not a stable place to work.
