What do you think? Who holds the product vision now?

@te OpenText is a finance and real estate company not a software technology. It’s always been about getting money with little to no investment. If anyone is expecting innovation, they need to look elsewhere.
Savinay was brought back to assign a number to everything--he was focused so much on metrics that he couldn't see the people behind the numbers. I felt that he led the charge to make all work about how much you can do rather than how well you can do it. Surprise, surprise, some jobs (heck, most) still require quality over quantity.
@b1 no, he wasn't even better than either Shannon or Muhi.
Great decision. Savinay is one of those people who is 100% consumed by what he sees in the mirror. OpenText needs an honest to goodness product leader with a vision. It would help too if that person was sincere and not condescending.
@ec OpenText never follows through on promises regarding products or solutions. It’s always been a quick cash grab that acquire another company for a quick cash grab. It’s a legal Ponzi scheme.
Bad decision but I get it. New CEO will bring in some of his own people. Savinay made a lot of promises
Jenkins own the vision. Savinay got the boot because he's a dmbfck and thought he knew better than Jenkins and was smarter. Should have kept his mouth shut.
CPO role is still open. The only vision Muhi has is how much budget he can cut.
@a5 LOL 😂
It was better in his hands than Muhi's and Shannon's.
His vision was not grounded in reality. It seemed he wanted fast change without considering the consequences and the complexity and size of our company. Too bad.
Product vision! 😂😂😂Stevie Wonder has more vision.
