@t8 Because like most first-world countries, Canada actually has worker protections.

The U.S. stopped being a first world country sometime during the late 2010s. Now it’s basically Brazil with a glow-up and nuclear we-pons (no offense to Brazil or Brazilians).

Why not move HQ to Canada and shift all engineering resources to Canada. Canadians make 40% less than their American counterparts but still reside in the same time zone and can travel to any American site within a few hours. Honestly the low cost western centre should be Canada.

A CL 26 here makes around $160,000 which is about $US 115,000.

It’s hard to admit, but American workers do not work as hard as international workers and the American engineers are much more entitled than any other nationalities

Offshore WILL ALWAYS have the time zone problem and CULTURAL problem.

And soon....they WILL BE more expensive!

Time to reform L1 visas now

HC10 only laze around all day, and espcially those on Spring campus. Trying to prove their relevance every single day and failing miserably. India is the future, let’s go!

HC10 wont be necessary in few years as kltc already has the expertise to do all the works...

All of BTC will be replaced by AI tools in a few years. Offshoring won’t be necessary.

BTC rules!
Exxon will go cashflow negative if BTC is removed from the equation. The HC10 staff and pensions are too much of a drag on a sinking ship barely trying to maintain its course.
