There are a lot of qualified people who work at Chevron, the management team just does not let us contribute at a level of our skills and education.
Chevron hired the brightest and the best then puts us into a closet do we do not outshine our managers.

I’ve heard some leaders actually say that their desire is to use AI to automate out the lower cost geography employees since RB put a stop to hiring targets at those locations. Certainly there might still be redundancies in the US, but I don’t think the outlook is as grim as it used to be here.

I don't work at chevron but this is the most entertaining company on this site, it's obvious that they only hire unqualified people and children based on the comments.

Why is everyone always looking for news on layoffs? This has been goimg
on for 30 years. Get a grip people!
As soon as one layoff is announced, people start conjecturing about when the next
One will occur. Exhausting!
