I don't think there are many operators still on their probation year.Its cruel to do it that way.Most of the newbie operators in STST are far better workers than the long term operators in STST.

Doubt this is true. The redundancies is based around a money cost cutting reduction for the site, not a headcount reduction. Makes more sense to make higher earners etc. redundant as it contributes more to the cost cutting. Just more rumours on top of the other rumours.
