Thread regarding USAA layoffs

USAA is the worst

We're pushed to our limits and we're working ourselves to exhaustion day in, day out, and for what? So that we can have the luxury of worrying about our jobs every day? So that we can expect not to get a raise no matter how hard we work? This is the worst work environment I have ever been stuck in.

Reading these comments makes the kind of service a customer (a vet that this company is supposedly to serve and respect for their service) gets both from the Banking and from Insurance division, That is why I am moving on to some other Bank that I will probably not get better service in this day, but at least it won't be from a company masquerading as helping and benefiting service members, REST IN PEACE, ALONG WITH YOUR MONEY.

I will agree with the other poster that your comment was distasteful on face value.

But it is a real concern. What happens next week if someone snaps and goes odd the reservation because of RTO? This should be at the forefront of the minds of the executives in ESG.

It’s not the worst environment that I’ve been in. But just saying that is very very sad. I joined this company because of the core values. Experiencing a great company turn into corporate America is very disheartening. I’m ashamed of the leaders that make stupid decisions in order to improve profits so that they get more compensation every year. Wayne makes millions of dollars a year. Amala is a millionaire year after year. If you want to be a good steward of members money, stop taking all of these excursions on fighter aircraft, aircraft carriers, slash your compensation to prevent other people from being laid off, and practice what you preach. I would love to have your yearly compensation, flashed above your heads when you talk to the employees about cost cutting measures. But then I reminded again: this is corporate America. I no longer drink the Kool-Aid at USAA. All of us are expendable. All of us are being used. And if we don’t like it, move on. I have nothing in common with our executives. I cannot afford college tuition for my kids. In one month, executive compensation allows them to pay for all four years of their child’s college tuition. One month. In some cases, even less. It’s not fair it’s not morally right. It’s corporate America.

Don't fret though. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Wayne and the EC will most certainly keep their jobs and get their monstrous raises/bonuses. Your blood, sweat, and tears are greatly appreciated.
