Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Anthem's management has messed things up beyond repair

Their bad decisions have taken this once-great company downhill really fast. To stay afloat, they've had to let go of great people whose absence is sorely missed. Not to mention, constant layoffs have left everyone paranoid and unproductive. This should be a huge red flag for anyone considering Anthem as a future workplace. If you're looking for stability, stay away.

Don't count on your bully leaving! The bullies are the ones who have the staying power here!

To the person that shared the post about thanking their bully, THANK YOU! Your story was very inspiring. I deal with a bully everyday who is also quite discriminatory in her dealings with me. In the past, I would have been at my witts end. But not now. Seems like Anthem is cleaning house with bad leadership so we will see what happens with my bully on 8/8.

I am Thankful for my bully managers who set up a toxic work environment with gossip, triangulation, and misery. The moral was low and the turnover high. I knew I messed up when I took the job, but it was right before Covid and I am a nurse so I did not want to leave my remote job. Plus, I did not live in a compact state so I could not leave Anthem. I stuck around for 4 years and took full advantage of the tuition reimbursement and finished my psychiatric nurse practitioners masters degree and Anthem paid it 100%. I finally left in December to finish clinicals. I graduate next week and I got a job offer making 3 x as much! Thanks bullies! My life just got so amazing and I do not have an axe over my head and I am not in constant fear of losing my job. I can open up my own private practice next year and I will be making 6 x a much. Use this toxicity to burn a hole in your ambition to either go back to school or get a better job. And never look back!

Could not agree more. My department got a new boss about 2 months ago & we miss our previous manager so much. The morale is low and it just really is sad how things have gone.
