Your boss will call you on zoom!
@12v lol, Joyce and Zitney need to go
@14q No known layoffs in the New Jersey offices so far
@sn Im waiting for any news about the New Jersey Offices. Can anyone share
when is joyce getting booted out?
Anyone in New Jersey locations impacted?
@b1 Contrary to what you wrote, January 21 was not the second but the third Wednesday in January
@js (1) The figure of 2000 fired employees is only a rumor, (2) The employees to be fired are in most cases get informed about the redundancy in a face-to-face meeting, not in a call, (3) As of now, in this thread there is absolutely no info about the affected countries, offices, divisions, or notice period. It is very desirable to have it in future posts.
Word on the Street - double talk - more productivity focus meaning.... reductions
@js Calls were made, but not by HR, several offices affected
@js but is this happening in North America, perhaps in the New Jersey offices? How did they do it though?
I wonder if they contacted all 2000 employees yesterday. If all calls were done yesterday, I guess the bank is heavily weighted in HR personnel to make phone calls. Or did they offshore that to India or a consulting agency?
@OP Got the call yesterday along with my manager and 2 other people I know.
@g3 I am sorry. I wish I had something more meaningful and helpful to say. I hope you find better employment soon.
@f7 what location?
@g3 no way, what happened
I got it. I m done
@f7 oh shoot, it has begun. Do we know if it’s in GD or just widespread and if it’s in America only?
I heard 2,000 impacted. My manager was one and we are all counting down the days. Ex colleague was also notified.
Nothing
Tomorrow is often a big day for layoffs. Second Wednesday of the month.
@a6 the call to get booted
Ding Do-g Ditch... the employee
@OP What call?
