Chevron Security Disaster: From the Conference Room to the Backroom

The security leadership under PB seems to be steering the company straight into disaster. There’s a growing sense that former FBI and Law Enforcement employees, who are now part of the company global security team, are acting without oversight. Many of these individuals, who didn’t get the action they wanted during their government careers, are now allegedly involved in highly questionable activities, raising serious concerns about how the company is being run.

The company is currently under criminal investigation in multiple regions. These investigations are particularly focused on the interrogation methods being used. Reports indicate that the American security employees have been employing controversial techniques, such as the Reid Technique—a method that’s been banned in several countries, including the UK, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand due to its potential for coercing false confessions and even crossing into torture. There are allegations that these employees used such techniques abroad, subjecting individuals to extreme psychological stress, intimidation, and other potentially illegal tactics. These activities are now under scrutiny by authorities in various jurisdictions, raising the question of whether these actions violate international human rights laws.

One of the individuals reportedly involved in these questionable practices, has allegedly been moved from Kazakhstan to Thailand. Although it isn’t officially confirmed, there’s a strong chance he’s under investigation for serious accusations and may be trying to avoid further scrutiny. His involvement has only added to the growing list of concerns the company faces.

Meanwhile, HR outgoing leadership is said to have taken advantage of this chaotic situation to further her own agenda, leaving the company to operate like a rogue entity with no real oversight or control. Good thing that she is on her way out. With all these moving parts, it feels as though the company is spiraling, with its leadership losing grip on any sense of accountability or regulation.

MW will likely be asked about this in the next earnings call. Investors should be very concerned.

In a couple of decades I have talked to security twice.

Once because I left my badge on my desk which they verified and got the approvals to retrieve it and once when one said good morning to me in the lift.

They didn't water board me or torture me in the lift but it sounds like I was one of the very lucky ones.

The best thing about threads like that is management can no longer claim negligence when the sh-t hit the fan which is inevitable in cases like this.

Someone is telling them something is going wrong and even identified specific individuals. MW and the BOD can not come and say "ohhh this was an individual case and we never heard about it before"

They will be dragged into the these cases once it gets to the right people at the Congress. I personally screenshotted few replies to A.O.C.

"It's fascinating how certain tactics, especially those drawn from past careers, can sometimes blur ethical lines in a corporate setting. In the end, any misuse of authority, particularly through outdated or questionable interrogation practices, tends to catch up. Accountability goes both ways, and those who operate with a 'nothing-to-lose' attitude might find that all eyes turn toward them eventually. It’s worth remembering that reputations are built over time but can unravel quickly if integrity is compromised."

No way anyone in Chevron IT is skilled enough to hack into personal phones.

Maybe if you have work email on your personal phone - but in that case it’s pretty clear what access you’re agreeing to when you sign up. Anyone allowing chevron access to their personal phones just to get Outlook or Teams on it is stupid.

I am shocked reading the replies from obviously CVX security people.

Insults, denial, down voting, threatening....

Is it only me or does anyone else see this beahviour as even more concerning. This is serious guys. These guys have access to many things and if they run the way they are in this post, we are in real danger.

I am very concerned personally. These are dangerous people with access to many things and are in a position of power with no checks and balances and even protected by compnay Legal.

Is it only me or does anyone else see a serious resemblance with North Korea 🤔. This is not a joke. We are talking avout people lives in hands of some tyrants who are running wild with no boundaries or understanding of charter of rigjts here.

Hi! Downvoting gang here. (Waves)

This is literally the stupidest conspiracy theory I have ever read. That’s the reason for downvoting. The internet should file a restraining order against you.

@sim yes indeed, you are very insightful, an alert has been received by the Special Global OPs division and the downvoting algorithm has subsequently been activated by our inside operative. Prepare to receive the rectal tracking chip.

If you ever get a call from Chevron security, just say, "F*** off and talk to me only when my lawyer is present."

That’s why they do this kind of stuff outside the U.S. I’ve heard about what they do, and these stories about mental torture are real. I personally know one employee who tried to end his life after an interrogation over false accusations.

Their upcoming move is also predictable

They will create a fake threat so this threat does not stay up top for so long before they involve legal to take it down ....

They prefer to hide the truth rather than fixing the issues. This is Chevron unfortunately in the last 10 years.

They also Spy and Hack into people personal phones and laptops without any warrant.

I am surprised no one have exposed this yet. Their scandals will be even bigger than HR.

They break the law under the name of protecting the company. Yet it is all for personal agendas.

They are worse than HR in my views and they run unchecked or even worse under the protection of Chevron legal.
