@sfd It sounds like you don't have a clue of what's going on. Purchase stock shares for what exactly? Do you realize how many shares you would have to purchase to have any kind of sizable earnings from those? It might be hard to buy those shares if you don't have a job too! You certainly don't want to buy UP stock right now, or at least I wouldn't. In case you forgot, the shareholders are the root of the problems. Please share with us about how the shareholders hold the UP accountable? The shareholders/investors are investing in an idea that has already failed. The logic behind electing Vena back into the CEO spot is a mystery that might never be solved. Vena was elected to the CEO spot to turn the company around. Wait a minute, that was his sales pitch the first time when it started going to sh1t. Fritz was let go because of his bad decisions. Guess what, Vena was one of those bad decisions. His decisions caused the stock price to drop and initiate federal hearings. Those hearings is what sealed the deal on Fritz. The investors held Fritz accountable for the drop in price and service issues. I'd like to know why Vena was never questioned about his involvement. He was brought on to quarterback the entire PSR campaign. I watched those hearings, and Venas name was brought up a couple of times, but Fritz VERY CLEARLY shielded Vena from the questioning that he should've been in attendance for. Do yourself a favor and go look at the current stock price, then report back here to let us know what the stock price has done since Venas return. The investors do expect a return on their investments, but they're not getting that now. I will never invest in any company that treats it's employees so badly that actually warrants its own social media sites like this one. The UP is made up and run by the hard working men and women who wear boots, not suits!

If you choose to buy UP stock do it through your own brokerage account instead of their purchase program. Then if you need the money you can sell your shares when you need to without any strings attached. As for the company purchase program, its just an IOU on a portion of your paycheck...don't let them hold any of your money!!

You are a simpleton!!! Shareholders invest their money expecting a return on the investment. They hold UP accountable, that is why Lance is gone and Jim is here. Instead of crying about what will happen purchase stock and at least get something for all the misery that we are about to endure.

The people on TV are paid actors, or at least someone who received compensation for something nice about the company. The UP was given many warnings about the PSR road to destruction. The ones to thank for all of the issues are brought to you by the spineless management team for not standing for the employees they managed. Everyone of the executives and managers need to be dismissed from the company. He-l let's get the shareholders in on it as well and hold them accountable too!
