If only we could get somebody high up to sit down, determine and eliminate all the positions that are overlapping (and we all know those are not non-managerial roles) we wouldn't need any layoffs of hardworking people who actually contribute to this place for years. Target and personalized Marketing is pathetic Google hacks and intrusive. SF thinks their o customers are sheep
Give me another dashboard and consolidate reports and show me more charts on one place. Gather, steal data and but, sell and share it...Then we all get bonus and raises and be the “leaders” this organization deserves. Intelligence is optics
Very simple. Are the results tied to the Goals of the company and moving the company forward.
Results are in the eye of the beholder. I’ve seen enough monthly reports from leadership to run you crazy , all meaningless numbers in a box with no accountability to performance, he/ she has connections and is u touchable. How can a VP in this organization be so incompetent as to shrug off any accountability and still be in the position. Just like most politicians , term
Limits to leaders that are slackers. If your
Leadership has been around in same position for 10 years or more , challenge them to change an d move on or out. Trust non of them .
Maybe they should check their RESULTS on what they produce each year!!

They could probably get rid of at least half of the "analysts" - many who have no clue what they're doing.
@rtr for me it personally it comes down to those that are in value-added roles vs those that are not. If you are in one of the general departments that you can find in any company and are not helping or service the external, money paying customer, I feel completely different about them being downsized, right-sized, outsourced or just plain laid off.
It’s astounding that on this forum where people complain about layoffs, much of the conversation is focused on all the OTHER folks who should be canned.
Agree. Digital, content management, marketing and ET has plenty of these. It’s mind boggling. We know who does the dirty work snd hard work it’s not those that are “Product Owners”, TMs, leadership development or above. Optics are everything. Does not say much about the integrity snd intelligence of systems or HR
