Accenture announces one-time bonus for all employees as the tech giant sees robust revenue growth

This is real recognition for employees. Much better than a Thank You email.

Information Technology (IT) consulting firm Accenture has announced a one-time bonus, which will be equal to one week’s base salary for all employees, globally, below the level of the managing director.
Accenture’s announcement came along with its second quarter results where its revenue stood at $12.1 billion, an increase of 8% in US dollars. The company’s new bookings were at $16 billion, a 13 percent increase from the same period, last year. Accenture now expects its full year revenue to grow between 6.5 percent and 8.5 percent in local currency, a jump from the company’s previous guidance of 4 percent to 6 percent.
“This bonus recognises the exceptional contributions and dedication of all Accenture people to its clients during this challenging year,” said the company in a statement today.

The pay rise carrot is out until August. Only donkey's follow carrots.

Some think DXC got the "cream of the Accenture crop", other the manure that sat on top of the crop.

DXC treats it's employees (except director, VP, SVIP and the board) like garbage, a necessary evil.

There is offshoring UK and US jobs to low cost countries where most need to follow a script and can't debug their way out of a wet paper bag (notice I said most, not all).

Mike S on day 1 should have given everyone with a positive review a pay raise , even if it meant that Board members had to take a salary cut or no bouns that year. He didn't and now the carrot is out till August till we might have a chance to get a pay increase. You can be a start in your BU , but if that BU as a whole didnt do well you will get nothing and that is not right!

I know of a US Auto software provider company that had to do some layoffs, but the board and VP's all took a 25% pay cut and gave 3% to 6% pay rasies to the rank and file this year. They were given $1,000 each to make there work from home easier as well.

If I don't get a decent increase this year I am done with this sh– hole, not ready for retirement yet have 6 years, but I'll be a greeter at Walmart before I work here another year being treated like dirt

Interesting how Accenture is thriving even though a number of their former 'top class' employees now work for DXC? Just a thought

If you want the bonus, switch to Accenture. Now.

DXC will never pay one, to you. Only to the top level managers which came from ... Accenture.
