Never heard about any Production layoffs. And no proof presented here either.

The defenders of Xerox claim they make six figures but you will soon make zero when Xerox gives you the pink slip.

The whole point of this site is to report and talk about layoffs not fight for or against Xerox. Have some empathy for your colleagues who report being treated like sh-t by this ghastly company.

Wipe ur a-s with your 100 dollar bills while you are at it - u must be so proud to tell folks where u work (no, you are not).

Trash company left with bottom of the barrel employees.

No thanks on the tissues…I can just use the hundred dollar bills I make here to wipe my nonexistent tears. Congrats on moving up from minimum wage finally! I’m sure your parents are proud and you can finally move from the basement to the first floor. Now come see me when you actually make well over 6 figures with your eyes closed year after year.

@2jxl
Do you need some tissues ??
Actually my basement is pretty sweet , thanks
My publicly traded company just gave me a 7% raise, a 3% cost of living increase, matches by 401k dollar for dollar, so open your eyes and make note!!!!

And this is different from how many other publicly traded companies?! You wannabe dads on here need to go back into your basement. It’s a job and nothing else. But if that said job is paying the bills and making us lots of money and you’re still having fun, then simply F off and leave us alone. Nobody gives a cr@p that it did not work out for you.

When will you realize they are feeding you what you want to hear!
Do you think they give a damn about you?
They feed you lies so you'll keep busting your a-s making them $$
My God, wake up and get the F out

SB came off as excited and positive in the town hall but it’s been the same song and dance for years. Nothing has changed except for the brown nosers.
Do more, focus on cash, don’t spend and in return we will not give you raises, profit sharing or anything else we have promised over the years. We will take substantially large bonuses and rub it in your faces.
It’s ok, we don’t need to feed our families. We enjoy being bent over the table every working day.

Nothing but chicken littles on here. Can’t take any of them serious. The person saying production will be sold off is of the “special” variety. Lol.

Analyze your day. How much of your day is spent driving revenue or fixing issues they’ve created. It getting harder to find someone that is left that knows how to fix the issues. So many compliance problems now. The company is very fragile because of these great leaders.

Docushare. See it hear it. Docushare is going to be the future of Xerox. Remember you heard it first from Stevie B.

Products? What products? No products to sell. Nothing in development. Product teams decimated by layoffs and resignations. They’re going To try sell these things off before there’s nothing left to sell . . . But it may be too late.
In any case, more layoffs to come.

Look at the body of work over the four years. HCL, layoff after layoff, screwing vendors and employees to feed the cash furnace in Florida. Zero ability to stabilize or grow. The whacky nonsense they are trying to sell to employees and the street can’t outrun the loss of MIF and post sale decline. Watch the cash closely. Steve’s frictionless flywheel strategy has accelerated the decline.
The pressure is on! Does anyone really believe the Joanne and Steve show can turn this around? What on earth is the board thinking?

"Selling the old school production business is eminent. "

You'd think that someone with an inside at a level to know such things would know that the correct word is 'imminent'.

Cue impotent rant about 'grammar Na-is', etc. in 3, 2, 1...

Dear @rnb+1i2Wyg9W,
SB was JV's guy and JV's was CI. I can assure you that any EC member who does not obey CI won't last long.

What is Steve's relationship with Icahn? I never trusted Icahn even before he got involved with Xerox, and John was one of his people. I don't think Steve is?

I worked closely with JV and SB when they joined and the first thing on the agenda was a major M&A deal (i.e., selling XRX or merging). We met every weeks to identify candidates (FX, HP, Lexmark, etc.) and mature the pipeline. That started in mid-May 2018. I left later that year. My guess is the EC is now more desperate to make something happens and might be willing to compromise.

An interesting post in a Barrons news article regarding this announcement.

https://www.barrons.com/articles/things-to-know-today-51659523839

As recently as Xerox’s first-quarter conference call, Visentin had said the company was “increasingly looking to monetize investments” in new areas through strategic transactions that could include the sale or merger of various businesses. DealReporter, a publication that focuses on mergers and acquisitions, wrote recently that with Visentin’s death in late June, the odds of a sale of the company have increased.
