Any new 15 minute meetings scheduled for anyone?

I would not be surprised to see individual contributors reporting to VP where VP now use “AI” to manage them and the individual contributors sole objective will be to complete work to keep the business running while being completely monitored by AI to train AI bots to do their jobs. Mark is doing this to save his job and the executive leadership team. If he cared about employees, he would seek to be acquired by a big tech company.
@rk ??? I am in the US and the employees I met with in my meetings were located in the US and Canada.
@rg, I did and I always try to use a subject line that is informative as to the topic of the meeting. One was “Quick sync on proposal to [REDACTED: Confidential Customer Name]” and the other was “Internal touch point on response to [REDACTED: Confidential Customer Name] questions”
@rf You're a liar in India.
@rf Given how tense most people probably are, please make the topic of your 15 minute meetings clear. My manager did that to me once and I nearly had a nervous breakdown.
I scheduled two 15 minute meetings with internal colleagues last Friday. Meetings were related to standard business. I schedule 15 minutes when I know I won’t need the full 30 minutes because I don’t want to waste my or my colleagues time which is extremely valuable.
An individual contributor layoff just happened in USA.
@n1 It was Australia
Was the manager with less than 3 directs in the US?
I know of one manager with less than 3 direct reports gone last week.
Managers with sub optimal directs numbers soon. Not sure when
Or, the first week of July. Then it doesn't get reported under this fiscal year. Either way, you are right to pose the question...
Everyone knows more layoffs are coming especially in the US.
