Rumor has it that Toni doesn't know "what to do with all these sales people". Apparently unimpressed with the Juniper sales teams. Are you ready? Get ready!

Getting ready for a lot of Juniper exits. Source HR.
@2vp 100% sales are sc--wed, it's obvious, 2 teams for each account need to be reduced to 1. Seeing as pistols at dawn is no longer allowed, it has to come down to performance. I have not heard of any Juniper Sales people being let go yet? Let's deal with facts rather than this kind of bull sh*t propaganda.
@gx errrr.. wut.
@fk exactly correct - HPE cannot afford to pay off these people. Best to scare them out of the door for free. These posts are just propaganda.
@2bk is this why you are here on this forum? Because you are happy?
did you hear... "OP is a bellend" - Toni.
must be true.. it's in quotes.
@2bk Ex Cisco and Nutanix people are insufferable. Like Boombox. he from nutanix.. Uhhg..
@1ks the are all ex-Cisco or Nutanix and micro managers to boot. I got out a year ago and happier for it
@1mw They and their customers know that Mist technology is far superior to legacy Aruba. Why did HPE acquire Juniper?
I saw some CX switches at a customer location the other day. They were using them to prop open the backdoor.
Be glad you can sell real switches like EX / QFX now and not some garbage with an AMD co-processor like we are back in the 90s with '386 DX2 w/Math Co-Processor'.
Don't forget that Juniper kept the Mist sales org, acct execs and presales too when they acquired them so what do these rockstars even know?
Lots of SEM management dead weight too.
In 2023 Juniper reported $2.56B in net revenue for Enterprise. That same year HPE reported $30.13B in net revenue for Enterprise. Those are just reported facts. Sales leaders will drill down to productivity per head, and there is nothing reported to build that number.
@198 You nailed it. Look at the Juniper portfolio before Mist, kind of sad really.
@17c I don't know what they even sold before mist. What's the refresh cycle on those high end routers like every 50 years? What large enterprise use all Juniper switching? None. Maybe some SRX, but thats it. No wonder their quotas were under 4 million.
@171 Act right! Before MIST, JNPR Sales was even worse! Think about that! NEver even sold wireless before that.
More comical posts from Aruba ENT sellers - HPE spent 14 billion because you can’t sell. Three horse race with Cisco, Arista and Juniper. Nice product with Clearpass - excited to sell it.
Best advice for Aruba sellers is stay out of the way.
@15m you think that is low? You should see the attainment.
@12k Know of JNPR ENT sales guys that were under $4M. No joke.
@wz JNPR sales quotas was seriously low.
@w1 Bruh - funny i was just talking to an ENTERPRISE Juniper Sales loser. Annual quote under $6M? TF outta here!
@w0 big deals huh? a few mil isn't big. lost in the couch change commission.
@vp Matey, real routing, switching, and security make up such a small part of my big deals. We don't need them and their routing expertise, ooooohhh ahhhh, SRX?>. Get real!
@rd ..... Juniper Sales doesn't need arrogant HPE Aruba sales people who are uneducated on real routing, switching, and security platforms messing up their deals.
Pack sand matey!
Exactly! I don't need exJuniper panicked sales teams messing up my deals. My biggest customers use Cisco anyway so these guys are just getting annoying. Bug off mate!
Weird considering over 90% of the Juniper Federal side took over HPE Aruba Federal side...
Juniper sales aint kno nuffin about HPE. Aint wunna learn either so????
The easiest thing is to start rumors like this to scare people into getting their highest numbers, and scare everyone else into moving on. And it only costs a rumor.
@a8 20%? Will be a lot more than that. Juniper Enterprise is / was just pure silliness.
Clearly they are going to dump 20% of them after 1 year. Just wait 2 more quarters
