Thread regarding Cargill layoffs

Another wave of layoffs next week

According to HR sources, we expect another wave coming week in Europe. I don't have details on countries.

@14v Cargill really is a shell of its former self. Thanks "leadership" team!

@r0 since the beginning it hasn't been performance driven. In 25 years, I never had a bad performance review. Even when I put my own comments about things I could improve on, my supervisor came back and praised me for handling tough business circumstances. It's about money and AI is coming. McKinsey are called the layoff kings. They are now after years of influence playing out the game plan that they've been building up to. Sad to watch what has happened to a company I once was proud to work for.

Unless you are best friends with someone higher up or willing to keep stabbing others in the back to survive here, expect your number to be called at some point. No longer performance or people driven organization.

Do you know how soon they will let impacted employees know?

Just saw the email from Joanne. Anyone know the numbers/impacted areas since Cargill won't share?
