@h9 naturally know. Most of these posts are BS. Do people get laid off at Citi? Sure it’s a company of 230K people. But the bottom line is that since project Bora Bora in 23 there are only 10K fewer people and I’d wager 40+% is via attrition.
Project Bora Bora is a bust. When and if Citi gets out of the consent order and gets their data sorted out so AI can be fully implemented significant job losses will ensue. But no telling when that will happen and we’ll be the last of t(e big banks to get there.
Still this is a horrible place to work. My retirement horizon is 9month but the only reason I’m still here is to get a RIF package. If not offered by Jan I think I’ll hang things up early.

What is going on in Services that Dan's org being called out? Services is the most profitable business at Citi? Anyone care to share details other than insults since only one lob being called out? I thought wealth was a clusterfx.

@a6 Didn't Khaliq make make some reorg announcement recently? Also, get rid of Dan Stern, the data guy. Useless. Services does its own data governance embedded within the lines of businesses and rightly so. Dan's team is an overhead and basically useless.
