HIH counts as employees. That’s what is balancing numbers. More employees in India. Fewer in the states.

It won’t be over until HIH office is fully staffed and Ireland office is fully staffed. Awful quiet on the Ireland front. Hmm.

Corporate cronies posting here can say what they want. It’s still happening even if they want to drink the koolaid.

I can confirm a lot more than 4. There’s no way to know a final count.

I want to know why someone thinks it was only 4 employees. I personally know of way more people than that, I just don’t have an exact head count. I am in provider ops!

Wow. Let me tell y'all that layoffs happened on 4/3. I was on PTO when I got a text to call a senior leader when my job was eliminated due to 'consolidation/restructuring." Prior to this, in mid-March, 50% of the contractors in Evernorth Accountable Care were released. At that time, I learned the senior leader of ENAC was being let go. On 4/3, many of my co-workers were laid off, including my manager. The CIO was let go a few weeks ago. I heard today, 5/8, another layoff occurred. I have worked in corporate America for over 30 years and yes, layoffs happen. But to say you need to work hard to keep your job is a bunch of BS. Sorry Noelle, but you're full of sh!t. It's all about how much senior execs can save to please the shareholders and also get their mega bonuses while throwing scraps to employees. I'm so done with thee companies. My next job will be enough to pay bills and save for retirement. I hope anyone impacted by these life changing events can get back on their feet quickly. I'm rooting for you.

I’m not seeing any American workers let go today, my whole part of the company seems to still be here

100 more employers don’t count especially since you hired them in India for peanuts while firing American workers.

I’m Noelle, I had a great bonus! So there is nothing to do worry about. If you worked as hard as you did on this board as you did your job we wouldn’t be in this position and I wouldn’t have to hang inspirational signs at my desk. Now get back to work … and let your friends know we’re growing as a company if they want to join a great organization!!

It’s 7:37 am est. People on here are d-mb as he-l. You are the ones who should be eliminated.

There will be impacts today. In a company of 70k, layoffs are going to be a very small percentage of the workforce when structured in small waves over a couple of years.

Yep I agree, the silent before the silent is more like it, there is no layoff storm today, must more fear mongering

All that worry was for nothing, no mass layoff today.

5/8 is going to be big. I know because I'm involved. I also know of actions occurring in August and September. Those saying it's over don't know what they're talking about. If fact it's comical. AI hasn't even arrived yet.

“Again, more hysteria. The warn notice in morris plains was erroneously reported. You can’t put Warn on one building, it’s a percentage of the whole company, and the 50 employees at morris plains is no where near enough.”

It is unlikely that a WARN notice is erroneously posted. Some employees have already been given notice for 7/3 termination, but others may still be not have been notified yet. The dates in the WARN notice are termination dates, not employee notification dates. In most cases, companies are adept at selecting just the right number of employees to avoid these notices. 5/8 could be another layoff notification date that falls outside the previously published NJ WARN notice.

The question is whether they are trying to lay off enough people in Morris Plains to get out of the lease and close the site. The space there is underutilized, even on the anchor days.

"You can’t put Warn on one building"

You don't understand the WARN Act or triggering clauses, but that's OK and you can research it on your own time.

"I agree the layoffs are over"

Well, the layoff calendar indicating 5/8 and a WARN notice in Morris Plains layoff in July would like to re-enter the chat.

Has been a rumor is more like it. I agree the layoffs are over, nothing is happening tomorrow that is major. One or two people will come on here and claim they know a person or two that was let go and try to start hysteria, but it’s over

@b7+1jth0etzc - 5/8 has been a known layoff date for months. Obviously “most” layoffs have happened by now but we’re talking about how many this week will happen
