Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

I understand this will impact the Internal Claim employee employees as well. They just don't know it yet

Weird because Allstate prides itself on its SIU unit and how they’re the only company that goes all out to investigate. Won’t have that claim to fame anymore!

@qpe+19tc289D Don’t know a thing bout upper SIU management but for me trust me not significant increase over skilled regular adjusters. There does seem be lot dead weight in SIU managment drop RCLs see if anyone notices. no one can compete with India or national seeatshops that pay you minimum wage while you drive your car maybe if I cook while driving I can qualify for increased food service minimum wage, I need a hot plate for my car! Oh darn not in budget had to spend on generator I’m in TX and moved my computer into my nursery.

SIU is gone. Most of the higher salaries in claims are sitting in this department. This property referral modelling concept is a disaster that is unethical and is in violation of EVERY states unfair claims practice acts. Many good folks who put their time in with the company and earned their opportunity to be an SIU investigator from the inception of the department were let go and many more will be let go as well. India will end up doing the investigations for 15.00 an hour.
