Looking like bonus is happening but not full amount. Does anyone know what % of your percentage they are paying?
Does anyone know what raises look like this year?0-2%? More?

@1nx this isn't the case for all depts. I'm a Mgr and my Dir used to be able to distribute a pool, but in the last 2-3 years, any leftover pool of funds was generally distributed by our upper leadership.
It’s very specific to role department so there’s really not a good way to compare. You’d have to focus on the rating + percent given to determine where you landed.
@1wr Diabolical leadership
@1nx this is if you have good MGMT above you. I'm also a manager and for the past two years I was forbidden from allocating the entire pool. And last year, my director went into CompView and froze it so that only she could allocate it.
Not bonus eligible, received a 3.5% raise
Former leader here - management DOES have ability to assign bonus/merit increases to their team. Of course where eligible. They are given a “pool” and they have to divide it across their team. Those who get “Meets” but do go above and beyond and not given an “exceeds” will get a larger share of the pool. Those not going above and beyond will get a smaller share. If you have 1 direct report they get 100% of the pool. If you have 2 and one does better than the other, the manager may give one 60% and the other 40%, but both may get a “Meets” rating.
Grade L. No bonus and a 3.5% raise :(
3% raise and bonuses funding 50% - M salary grade. There are grade L on my team.
@k4 you got a bonus AND raise and you’re complaining?
I believe that business unit funding was in the 65-70% area (with 100% being “normal), but as the name suggests it varies somewhat based in the performance of your business unit/market. Overall, bonus eligible individuals can expect to get 65% of their target bonus.
@qg I know that several markets received 5% raise when this happened. Definitely in WI
Bonuses were taking away from us two or three years ago with the promise that yearly raises would pick up the slack. One guess if you think that promise was kept.
@aq Good luck ...
50% funding for bonuses.
@qw great question
@es this was my exact experience. I didn't even know they still gave bonuses. My level they took them away a few years ago. Someone one my team complained about not being satisfied with their bonus. It socks it wasn't what they were expecting/promised.....but I don't get one at all....
Single contributor, 4% raise plus an 8% bonus. Our market was profitable in 2025. I was told that this played into these numbers and that markets that weren’t as profitable had lower increases/bonuses.
What was the expected day for bonus payout? 3/6?
Imagine defending bonuses for above poverty level salaries that includes bonuses to a 5% raise for below poverty level salaries on a layoff board. The times we live in. BTW what year was this 5% raise?
@mp I don't know who you're talking about, but NO ONE in my area got a 5% flat raise when they took bonuses etc away. Sounds like nepotism or fabrication to me.
3.25% - a whole extra $30 a week YAY!!!! (sarcasm) Been here for almost 6 years not including the 3 years prior with Health Net Federal and still haven't broken $50k a year but sure am doing 10xs more work.
Individual contributors below M were given a flat 5% raise in our area when they took bonuses away. M and above did NOT get that raise. So stop saying you got nothing.
VP+ did not get merit increases this year. Were notified a few weeks ago that would be the case.
Not bonus eligible and it was 4.2% this year. Honestly I was nicely surprised
I'm a Sr. Engineer in BTS, I got 70% of the bonus (roughly 5.6%). For Raise I got 3.7%, and was told sorry its not much but the average raise was like 2.5%, so I guess yay for me ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Bonuses were taken away for everyone below M salary range a few years back so most of the folks doing the actual work don't get jack sh-t. But I'm lucky my manager maxed out our raises for our team as much as they could, I got 3.76%
Bonus was not great. Heard the firm target was only around 65% of the already low bonus percentage for many (not to mention there are many more that do not get a bonus period). Raise was standard 1-2% and did not keep up with inflation.
Wonder if the executives had to make that many sacrifices in pay this year.
You can be doing the same job as someone on your team as an individual contributor and qualify for a bonus. Imagine doing the same job and hearing your coworkers complain about a low bonus and you don’t qualify lol
Half my team that are individual contributors receive bonuses and exceed expectations (pays to be friends with the boss,literally). The rest just of the team get meet expectations. Less work more money- just the way it is.
Bonuses are paid based on your job grade, not necessarily management. Centene is generally stingy below director level.
This is indeed interesting - so they lied when they said that individual contributors were no longer eligible for bonuses in 2023 when they took them off the table? 99% of my team exceeds expectations and works consistent over time (and you have to meet or exceed to even qualify to work OT). And from what I have heard, supervisors are told they ,cannot give everyone on the team "exceeds" on their annual review. So, if what you're saying is tru,e people on my team are going to get paid much more and get a bonus for doing the same amount of work as others and some of us will be left stagnant without fair and equal compensation? And you wonder why people don't feel the need to go above or beyond anymore?
Wait- so people who are bonus eligible receive a higher raise plus a bonus? I don’t know any individual contributor that ever received higher than “meets expectations” 2% raise who are not eligible for bonus. Interesting.
You must be in leadership/management because no one who is admin support and hourly is receiving a bonus or any PFP/KCPs. Must be nice to get paid for the work that the people under you are doing when they get nothing anymore for doing the work.
Amounts depend on your role and current wage. I was "successful" but only got 2.6% raise. The bonus is a shell game, starting at potential 8% then going down. I have never worked for an employer that paid less than 10% bonus. Mine too ended up about 2/3 of an already low number so I could "share the pain" of mismanagement.
With “successful performance” rating, I got less than 2/3 of target bonus and ~3.5% raise. Curious to see what other individual contributors got to see how much of it is individual performance vs company performance vs new 3-point rating system that does not differentiate meets vs exceeds expectations. The past few years I’ve gotten exceeds expectations and got 100% or more of target bonus.
1% not bonus eligible
