there are people with 21, 24, and 25 years of loyal service that were let go today.... 25 years is a quarter of a century to be loyal to a company and they just heaved us to the side of the road like taking out the trash.
I have said this all along. They have avoided the WARN requirements by classifying so many as "remote" and using their actual place of residence as their employment location
I used to pull reports by location for community service hours-- people disappeared off the reports when classified as "remote'
Dell is, and has been, a place to ride the wave while one can with the knowledge that cost cuts and layoffs were baked into the DNA from the earliest days. The fact that anyone achieves 20+ consecutive years warrants appreciation and congratulations. Good luck.

they are doing every thing that can to cut everyone off at the knees with little to no notice. performing layoffs in waves so that they don't have to file with the SEC. this is something that stockholders should be made aware of. dell is destroying their reputation while trying to force people to quit.
