Between the COVID variant hitting India very hard and the weaker internet stability and infrastructure for India to work from home with the Pune campus closed until further notice the daily log in and report to work rate since last Monday has been at about 30% or less.

Pfft, if this has happened in 6 months when more jobs were outsourced, maybe that would cause some problems, but this is just a blip

I assume this affects the company I work for at about the same rate.
Thing is, when you consider the population size, the death RATES in the US were still higher than that in India.
