when Sabre payed divident last time?
what P/E of Amadeus, what is Sabre?
when Sabre will be able to bring profit, it shares will rise...
@q8 what fanciful world do we live in and what random numbers are we throwing. Sabre has debt due every year including in 2026 which can be covered by cash in hand. There is still significant debt for 2027 which will again need to be refinanced and at a higher rate. Importantly, it pays $100mn + in interest every quarter! With a declining GDS business, small airline business and no hospitality, where will the incremental revenue come from?
Those are big numbers. Imagine Sabre was tiny business a million times smaller.
Sabre brings in $3,000 in sales per year and has $660 in cash but has $4,200 in loans that are not due to be repaid for at least 4 years.
Is that mini Sabre business worth just $375?
Look at Amadeus, shrunk a million times smaller to make the numbers easy to understand too.
Amadeus brings in $6,400 in sales per year and has $970 in cash but has $3,300 in loans.
Is that mini Amadeus business worth $25,000?
By that calculation, if Sabre gets its debt down from $4,200 to $1,500 then it would be worth at least $12,000. That would then increase Sabre's share price from $1 to about $32.
It's oversold.
Look at the stats: $3 billion in annual revenue with $660 million in cash vs $4.2 billion in debt that's not due for at least 4 years.
A market cap of just $375 million is far too low.
Sabre just needs to reduce its costs a little more and increase its revenue a little more to post a profit while still paying down the debt. As soon as Sabre resumes paying dividends then the share price will return to the high teens at least, based on precovid numbers.
If you hold, be patient. It you don't, it's a buying opportunity.
When the layoff happens later this week, the price should jump up.
Soon to be penny stock. The Wolf of Wall Street never looses as that is the job of the hard working employees.
Delisting is on the horizon.
@a2 That Paypal announcment ... They don't even know what they are talking about. A chatbot or virtual assistant is NOT agentic AI.
Don’t worry. After the Paypal announcement and the refreshed brand, this will be a $20 stock (NOT!)
