Thread regarding Solventum layoffs

SOLV employees should sue Bryan Hanson

Poor performance, multiple waves of layoffs, running the company to the ground. Bryan Hanson should be sued by Solventum employees, not paid $40 million. Please consult a good employment attorney to explore this option.

@qb The worst part is I know people in their 50s and early 60s who are now trying to make it any way they can. DoorDash is a common fill-in job. Sometimes, it takes so long to find a decent full-time job that DD lasts longer than people wanted. Wouldn't it be ironic if she used DD and a former SOLV employee had to deliver it to the office.

@ch the worst part about treating investors better than employees is that investors have gotten absolutely nothing in return. No stock price gain. No dividend. Just new hairdo Bryan and his band of external hires misfit toys. One of the latest hires will at least keep the trash cans empty of food by scarfing up leftovers from corporate lunches.

Bryan happily took 40 million and now takes order from an aging billionaire on a Florida yacht. And even that billionaire has nothing to show for his 600 million invested in this floating flaming tugboat of trash.

He's clearly doing the slower bleeding of jobs to avoid the bad news circuit. How can he claim growth and prosperity when he is wiping out long-time loyal employees death by 1000 cuts.

By the time he cashes out in 4 years, there will be scuttled businesses and destroyed careers. The Eagan building will end up part of county government offices, sold for 10 cents on the dollar while Bryan and his pirate cronies enjoy evening cruises on his yacht, sipping pricy wine and eating ritzy appetizers.

Wait to destroy what was once a great business, Bryan!

@bn Bryan's former colleagues at Zimmer call him "Gordon Gekko" - known for swooping in to "rescue" a struggling company - only to sell it off for parts. The writing has been on the wall for at least a year now - ever since "Solventum Way" basically cut loose life-long KCI/3Mers and tossed them into the streets like garbage. It's a travesty what continues to take place there - too many really good people sacrificed for corporate greed. They should have at least been transparent and replaced the word "people" with "investors" in their #1 corporate "value" of "Putting People First." Gaslighting at its finest!

@bd somebody compared Bryan to a pirate whose sole purpose seems to pillage the bo--y and bring along other pirate friends to join in the feast.

Bryan could care less since he has no more than four years before the house of cards collapses under the weight (figuratively and perhaps literally) of the person he just hired from Baxter. The four year plan they just announced confirms that.

He is a short term mercenary who will likely walk out the door at the end of his reign of te---r (on employees and shareholders) with over 200 million and will have sent 1000s of loyal former 3Mers to the Davy Jones Locker of professional career deaths.

Oh yes, don't forget Nelson Peltz the 83 year old billionaire who runs the show from his Florida yacht and has Bryan on speed dial when he wants to dial in more cuts and benefit reductions.

Just a damn shame what has happened to SOLV and 3M.

There has to be a reason they are purposely driving this company into the ground. Post acute it a huge market for them and they took all of the reps out of the selling field and put them in admin roles. Constant back orders and causing hospital systems to switch.

Just google execs and board members and look at their career records - you’ll see lots of overlap. No surprise they stay networked and take care of each other………it only costs layoffs and scapegoats.

Funny story is that Heather Knight is an active defendant in a class action lawsuit for the stock drop at Baxter and ki-ler Novum Pumps.
