Thread regarding Paramount Global layoffs

Do gas prices loosen up RTO?

At what point does the company give people driving to work for RTO an official break from coming to the office? Gas is at 4.49 currently out east and I cant imagine what the price is at on the west coast. Its clearly even more of a pay cut now.

@q7 I don’t drive to work, but when I did and gas prices were temporarily high a few years ago, the company I worked for officially backed off RTO 2 days a week to lessen the burden on their employees. So OP’s ask wasn’t about some crazy expectation as some companies do address it.

@j5 you read it wrong Einstein, it was a facetious statement. Gas prices affect every single company outside this company - it means - we're all in the same boat as anyone else - YOU stop acting as if gas prices only affect THIS company.. worry wort. Put your man pants on and su-k it up

@h8 "...don't affect or concern anybody outside of this media company" -
Why would anyone from outside this media company be on this board?

Why would you get $$ for gas? Do train-bus commuters get reimbursed for their commute? The answer is no. It’s a part of life.

It’s over $6 in So Cal, but Nepo Baby doesn’t care so don’t hold your breath for a break from RTO.
