Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Trump and Chevron

Anyone think this administration that's allegedly "America First" will embarrass Chevron or come to the support of the all those being outsourced?

If you think DJT is going to save you, you have a harsh reality check on the way.

DJT has openly supported more H1B visas. He only cares about business needs. He's a train wreck and I agree with the others who say the cult will own any mess he makes

One thing I know is i think there are a lot of people on here that would drop down and open up for DJT. I for one would do so but only for him. Otherwise I'm a straight nan!

So you're saying that somehow DJT will outdo crooked lying corrupt demented America-destructor sleepy joe biden as the worst president in history? That's a stretch of a thought even for the most far left of us all.
I guess he could turn around and start dismantling and selling parts of America's border wall to criminals.
Oh wait......

Best case with Trump is he is considered a buffoon, a skid mark, and the worst President in our history. Likely case is he does significant longterm damage to our country and standing in the international community due to gross incompetence. Worst case is too hard to contemplate.

It's not "swampy" to do it for Joe B or barack? Talk about swampy! They're the snakes and the ugly critters of the swamp. The career swamp dwellers. Can't get any more swampy than that, lol

Found it interesting that CVX donated to the Trump inaugural fund. Although apparently we do it every time. Even if we do it every time still seems a little swampy. As transactional as Trump in MW will get to do whatever wants.

Union guy? well I sure the heck hope not! Good grief go join a union already or pick up a trade that's unionized already. Why are you even working in the types of fields that are college educated (most of you) and aren't unionized because the employees are smarter than that? Go learn a trade and join a union or work at Starbucks, they have some which are unionized. You may be having to sooner than you think lol.

Truth? He's not a union guy, hates paying overtime, is redirecting the narrative away from the felony(s) non-conviction, and Jack's proof-laden report regarding private militias involvement/personal contacts, by acting like he's going to go after Denmark, Panama, Mexico, and the whole of South America - America First, right? Meanwhile, buckle up - Musk was also talking about liberating Britain at the same time itchy heat and rain coming from heaven made their way around the news cycle. So is it the flip-flopping and fears of tariff inflation drivers that's scaring the markets and pushing the eventual economic slowdown? He's blaming Biden for it, but truth is truth. Warmongering and tariff talks aren't good for the economy and domino effect, on future employment prospects. And yes, I voted for him.

That's interesting that you repeat that over and over,@gq as well as other false liberal narratives . You have already posted it almost verbatim at least once. Many have said the current economy is Trumps. No, not 2025, but sleepy's term is essentially the "delay effect" of the previous 2016-20 term, you know the theory, no need to repeat it. So in that case the damage and destruction of the current term carries on indefinitely and in some cases hasn't fully even taken effect.
But do keep on with your dem talkin points as if no one at CVX is capable of critical thought. That's pretty much all you guys have at this point.

@cm who's "we" ? It's obviously not you so don't worry about it. You voted for diversity and that's not going away soon so you should be happy. It's manifested in everything we do including the current predicament the CVS employees are in.

You really think a guy who loves the H1B program actually cares about hiring Americans first? Lolol

We made a massive mistake in electing this guy

Trump will not recognize anything happening within Chevron as that has never been his real focus. Rather, I expect his poorly considered tariffs and other policies to have a significantly negative impact on the economy overall and, thereby, the price of oil, accelerating Chevron's layoff and internationalization.

Saw an article encouraging all Trump supporters to put their entire life savings into Trump trading cards. They should out perform the market and ensure a comfortable retirement.

What you want Musk to take over hiring and firing at Chevron.. he will kick most guys out.. He will drill baby drill with robots

Exact opposite... Chevron could have saved that billion dollar building investment, and just gotten more H1B Visas. Typical juke in the wrong direction again.
