@pq there is a special place in he-l for these soulless parasites we have in charge right now. May karma find its way to them.

@pq not surprised at all. I wonder how dodgy our contractors will be once home office of india is up and running and those contrators are supposedly all ours and not cognizant. I predict even worse quality and higher turnover. We can't even outsource cheap labor properly without sc--wing it up. Seriously, everything this ELT crew touches turns to sh!t or is a complete dumpster fire.

@pg I heard someone say in passing that the Indian contractors we're hiring frequently work 2-3 full time jobs at the same time (it's a cultural norm) but employers really only get about 25% output, which if it looks like we're hiring 3x-4x as many people in India as we had in the US, it's because of this. They don't care about quality, they don't care about the status of the company based in another country... they just don't care.

And neither does ELT, which is why we're offshoring jobs like it's 2002 so they can get a short term boost to their GP returns before they jump ship and run off with their 10s or 100s of millions of dollars that you, me and the rest of the rank & file helped them earn.

You don't hate the firm's sr leaders enough.

The contractors we are using are getting worse than the ones I trained a while back (and that says a lot). Do even try to vet these people?Outsourcing and AI are all these dummies in leadership care about right now, and it's a freaking train wreck. Somebody needs to stop this madness before this situation is beyond fixable. All you mo--n GPs who signed off on this have just ki-led the golden goose. Who is going to fix all the errors and broken tech once all your good talent walks out the door and all you are left with is overseas contractors and chatgp?

@js Are you onshore to babysit and train the rest of your team's replacement like the Risk people in operations? Or, are you tech-ish where we are sending everything over to india that isnt nailed down, and it it just isnt your turn yet? Don't worry, your efforts won't go un-noticed. PP will be able to buy another 10k dollar bottle of wine, ugly AF pair of humble hustle sneakers, and a suit jacket that makes her look like the bird on the fruit loop box.

Well I'm one of the last Onshore folks from my team. I see the writing on the wall and I'm looking elsewhere. Sad end what was a good company.

Just hop into the directory of someone in that area. Expand out to 100 names. If the area used to have 12 people, it will now have 35-40 with obvious names from india, and maybe 2-4 us associates left behind to babysit them when the sc--w up something or fail to do the needful.
