@1cw
I do agree with this statement, no need to make fun of someone's appearance.
Though in this case it may be more offensive to Dobby from H.P.

@OP - Bemoan his proven lack of business acumen despite his previous high-profile job at MS. Belittle the fact that he leads one of the largest education companies on Earth yet does not hold an advanced degree. Besmirch his apparent incomprehension of global macroeconomics notwithstanding him graduating from one of the best business schools on the planet. But do not ever subjectively make fun of someone’s appearance. If you had actually put forth an argument in your comment, such insults would have undermined it.

@w4 report to media anonymously. They are terrified of that.

@ea as someone who has reported concerns internally and suffered significant retaliation as a result, that is a terrible idea. The ethics website is just is a tool to identify risk. If you're going to report something, do it externally and anonymously

@p8 if that’s the funniest thing you’ve ever heard that says more about you than anything else, bud.

@ea Report to ethics line. That maybe the most hilarious thing I have ever heard. Like ever.

Well done!

The board will care that the stock price is where it is and there is zero positive morale in the workforce.

Omar is managing up acting like everything is fine, using engagement scores to show how the company is moving with him when it isn’t.

He’s surrounded himself with spineless sycophants who won’t dare to contradict him.

They may not care about you, but they care about money, and for as long as this rag-tag band of clowns is in charge, they aren’t going to make any more.

New CEO and exec team needed for us to stand a chance. The board just need to hear it enough.

@ea what are you suggesting people report? Just general frustration and anger? Or is there something actually unethical occurring that I don’t understand.

@ea No one will care. The leadership team does not care. If people are unhappy, they want them to leave so they can outsource as many jobs as possible without paying severance

I encourage everyone to report through the ethics website about what is going on. For what good it will do I don’t know, but at least the board may become aware of the widespread discontentment which right now they are not.

When are executives going to learn - at Pearson, it doesn’t matter how smart or experienced you are, if you’re a smug pr--k, the company won’t do what you want it to.

@ad
We're rebranding as an AI/Tech company probably at the peak of AI hysteria.
Reminds me of when they went 'all in' on China some years back just at the wrong time.
Why can't we just focus on what we are good at (assuming we still have a few skilled employees left after all the re-orgs) ?
