Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Low Oil Prices

Amen!... praise be! Lower oil prices will be an economic stimulus. Say $30-50/bbl - cheap energy. Better then Fed cutting interest rates.

Go ahead and tag away. Then post it all on your hero’s “Truth” social and rub one out to that newd photo of Milan’s as you drive home in your Tesla.

Interesting way to attempt to spread fear. 50 people for what? Commenting on here? You're one of the 50 then, right?

Its all good. I think we got quite a few of you tagged. More than 50 individuals caught on here. Bad timing. The cut will be deep and you've made the list.

@10x+1jr1vjrz8 sounds like your job's really important and necessary if this is what you want to spend your time doing.

Personly I don't use "BYOD" and have never connected my personal phone to Wifi. With that said, this site is accessed on my personal phone. Good luck stealing company time with your BS proposal.

Ya know...I'm reading through these comments and I have a pretty good idea who is behind them based on the vocabulary and style.

I might need to get with our HR Reps and IT Departments and run a test to see whose been on this site using our building wifi, laptops, and phones.

Targeted? Good luck proving it. I've already had complaints come in from two individuals about a certain person and several others.

Amazing how many big, tough "alpha male" MAGA-ites are such fragile, whiny, little snowflakes. Whatever happened to keeping emotions out of arguments and relying only on cold, hard logic? Oh. Right. Look at fearful leader. The most fragile human, perhaps, in history. So sad.

Can’t believe people are still b*tching about the green lanyards 5 years later 😂 get over it, snowflakes!

Sad that so many people still don’t understand basic immunology. Keep your red hat on and your brown shirt buttoned.

Thank goodness. Instead of spending $6K a year driving into a pointless office it’ll only cost $4K. Sweet sigh of relief. Hopefully low oil prices bring another strand of CV19 just like the last downturn

@ny+1jr1vjrz8 Exactly! And if you can't prove it, no green lanyard for you! Surprised they didn't start handing out Scarlet Letters or worse a few years back.
Exaggeration? A little. Same flawed rationale? Yup.

The last time WTI was at this price; COP stock was tracking WTI closely in the low 60s/bbl and low 60s/share. That was 4 years ago and things have changed. Our finding, development and production costs are higher and so is overhead. Predicting tough times ahead for stock.

So in your delusional mind, only Republicans should work at COP?
What happened to freedom of association, speech etc.?

I am blown away by the # of dems here at this company if you are a real poster from the company. I thought this was a conservative company, no wonder you mucks slapped a green lanyard on and tried to get rid of those who believe in individual freedom and choice.
