I sit near the “people team” at one of our locations and there’s a very loud male employee who openly talks about “lowballing” candidates and mocking them for asking questions about return to office. You’re all low life henchmen and women for this disgusting EC. You can’t handle simple requests yet you act like you’re the all knowing and all mighy.

@nj HR team in Lake Mary last week having open discussions about future plans to include layoffs. Not the best optics or fiscal stewardship seeing our well-fed HR management overhead chowing away, mugging selfies, at a very expensive swaggy restaurant. #BNYLife
Maybe this year our well fed and highly paid People Chief will launch a new offboarding initiative by riding in on a horse with her cowboy hat and patented Gucci belt buckle asking everyone to offboard themselves and self-deport!
@np he should have been cut in 2025. Underperforming and a je-k!! His boss M is clearly blind!
"S" in Pittsburgh will most likely be part of the 2026 staff reduction.
@nm I know exactly who you're referring to. He's the worst.
There’s a guy in the Pittsburgh office who tracks with this. People hate working near him. He’s two faced AF. First name starts with S. Watch your backs! If he’s talking about candidates like that, just imagine what he’s saying about you!
@nj you are spot on! She's a yes woman.
@dg Think self-righteous, donut packing feministas who act as code enforcers, laying down workplace policies that are completely designed to protect EC and company profits and support and encourage labor cost reductions and voluntary attrition without severance. The Gucci wearing former GEICO lizard lady fits right in with the EC reptile villains.
People team people at BNY are a special type of awful. Trying to carry a facade of community and support, quietly shanking employees per EC directives when no one is looking.
Human Resources (I refuse to say People Team as you are simply a 'resource) attracts a certain kind of person. Think bailiff, the enjoyment of power over others, the ability to inflict misery simply by 'doing your job'. You need a certain mindset to work in HR. The really laughable part is they think they are indispensable, if ever there was a department ripe for the Grim Reaper in the guise of Eliza, then HR is it.
People’s Teams are made up of d-mb and especially lazy people. You got to watch your back whenever you have to deal with them because they get off on making people miserable
