@cr ah yes, sounds like famous HR definition. remote = female, over 40, maternity leave or sick. totally business driven…..
@bm - the well established pattern has nothing to do with gender, it has to do with workers who were remote to their manager and workers who who were working in areas that the company has other SMEs in other groups that will be spread across products.

One thing that really stood out: in f5os a high-paid male manager with mediocre performance (even rated poorly by some of his female reports and minority peers) is still around, while several female managers with stronger track records are gone.
On top of that, two female sdes from his group were also cut, while only one male sde was let go.
Hard to see that as purely financial. Anyone else noticing similar patterns?
