According to news outlets, there were "approximately 65 workers laid off at Mattel" during this round. Sources don't give full details by location.
Definitely seems like they are working through the remaining wi ag people bit by bit. They want us to train our replacements first. "Gentle people, it has been a privilege playing with you tonight." cue sinking ship

@s1 really? They're cleaning house at the brand that sells extremely expensive dolls not sold in big box stores? Big box stores that sell alternative dolls almost as good for half the price? Weird, what are they thinking?
still going on at AG today. marketing, creative, and quality control. several positions: creative managers, designers, production, and DAM.

@am a--hole, I know it’s hard to believe but internal emails are for internal people. Clear as fu--ing day. If you’re not an employee going through layoffs get a hobby until the time you actually are entitled to the info.
@aj I know it's hard to believe, but information about layoffs at large, publicly traded companies could be of interest to people who don't work for the company. Crazy, I know.
Heads are starting to roll but not sure who yet.
