@a1 100% this was the strangest roll out known to man. No one knows what is happening and how to complete the work. I’m already dreading Monday

@OP I feel bad for you guys. You have a very important role in helping mbrs get the care they need, and I'm sure this messiness is weighing on you in multiple ways.

@ve It was a mess. Imagine this:

You have a question, so you ask your leader.

Your leader doesn't know, so she asks her leader.

Her leader doesn't know, so she asks her leader.

That leader also doesn't know, so they hold a meeting.

Your leader then circles back to you and says, "just do it the old way for now".

So you never get answer....lol

Now repeat this scenario, at least 2 times per hour, for the entire shift. These were process questions that should've been considered before 10/1.

@a6 I’m sure there no where need what we have in CM! Also, the discussion about leaders is hilarious! I feel the same for CM leaders, half of them are clueless in our surveys, etc now and have no answer for us except “check Mentor!” Sure, member w S-B, on O2 just home from hospital
Last night can you wait just a minute while I look up something on the job aide or Mentor! We are not 5yr olds, we are licensed RN most of which with 25- 30+years educating on post dc dx! These people w/ COPD for 25+ years are not going to stay out of the hospital no matter what your scripts say!

It’s 10/1 … how’d it go?

@ne Yeah they want us chained to the computer. It's so bizarre. If left on my own, I could easily get my work done by 2pm. As it is, I have to slooooooow all the way down, just so I have things to do in the afternoon. Because they are obsessed with idle time.

Fortunately for me, I am planning my escape. October is my last month with Humana. The M-F is ki-ling me. I'm not cut out for 5 days per week.

We are expected to do our old work for the first half of the day and then new processes in the second half? meanwhile most people in our teams don’t have any clue on how to do the new processes. not to mention they have tightened the reins on when we can take breaks or WBT, it seems as though they no longer want us to have what little freedom or autonomy over we DID have

I am completely over this. I can only do the best I can do with what little training and information I have been given.

The bot does not work and won't be working for at least 2 months.

They still haven't sent any of the training material for reference.

Leaders will be assigning cases until bot is working

No idea on metrics....

No idea on template changes.

Wed should be fun....lol

Spill the tea to an ex UM nurse (left with the last ERP). 33 years of UM experience. I can’t wrap my head around how they expect this to work. Did they rope Care Plus into this as well? So many questions 😂

Popcorn! I need buckets of popcorn. This sh-t is going down and I can’t wait to hear the leaders blame the failures on everyone and everything except themselves.

@db their experience is su-king up. None, absolutely none, have actually worked UM within the past couple of years. All they know how to do is sit in meetings, jack their jaws and tell their subordinates to work like slaves. Not one of these leaders could work ten auths a day, let alone fifteen or twenty. The bot saves time but not that much.

Obviously, the response about the Centralization Team leaders Was From one
Of Them. If you knew anything about UM you would know this is not going to work October 1st. I can just about guarantee we will go back to routine process or the implementation date
Will be pushed out!! Then it Will be clear that they Did NOT know What they are doing! We are not trained or prepared! The truth will be exposed Wednesday and we will see who is correct!

Well, you ever commented that the leaders on this project know UR and have experience.. 1. You must be a leader or manager and need to maintain the lie 2. You are an a-s kisser wanting to move up 3. Actively drinking alcoholic beverages 4. On some kind of Dope. Take your choice . The nurse management of the new central organization does NOT have actual hands on experience. Period.

The leaders actually do have significant UM experience and the majority of the management team just shifted from the regions to the new team all of them have experience. You can be frustrated but at least be real

I can attest 100% that the leaders of the project are all blow and no go. They have idea but convince the top dogs they are experts. I fear this is going to be the biggest mess you can imagine. I hear the BOT is not working? God only knows . Let’s lay people off, start a new process with limited training , have open enrollment all at the same time. Yeah this is going to be fun. The training and process flows for this should have been in place a month ago. They should have gone live In stages. But the never have done the actual job leaders know best. Yeah that’s the ticket. Omg

@bk Having been part of these leaders and the project managers inner circle, I can attest you are 💯 spot on. They’re all so far out of touch and some aren’t even clinical and can’t tell you what UM means! But they have gotten where they’re at by being good at saying yes and kissing bootie!

I see once again the big H put the c art before the horse. This company is one of the biggest jokes there is. Everything they do anymore is a complete cluster.

@bk I was curious about when some of these leaders last completed an authorization. They speak like people who know of the job, but not how the job functions.

We're supposed to have a touch base on Monday. I'm actually not interested. None of my questions have been answered during the last 3 months. I doubt I get an answers tomorrow.

Well the nurse leaders of the pending fiasco have never done an authorization in their life. They are just very good a-s kissers. They are only worried about themselves and looking good.
The training has been poor and I agree is going to be a cluster duck. Who cares. Let it fail, let them fail. Do your job as best as you can and then walk away .

@a1 - what are the metrics in UM? Is it anything like care management?

I agree that they are not ready. I find this so odd, because they had 2 months to get everything in order and to run a couple of trials. I have never experienced a role out like this.

We had one "training" session which consisted of a powerpoint and concept maps. But many of the important questions went unanswered. What are the metrics? Where will facility info be located? How will the stupid bot assign cases? And so on. Wed is going to be a complete disaster, filled with so many emails about process changes.

I can hardly contain my excitement.
